FIRST FRUIT FASTING EXERCISE June 1-7, 2020 – DAY 3 (EVENING PRAYER SESSION)

THEME: QUIT YOURSELVES AS MEN AND FIGHT

Texts: 1Sam.4:6-9, Eph.6:12

There have been mortals that attempted banishing(banning, expelling) Christ but ended up with either salvation or destruction (Acts 8:1-3, 9:8; 12:1-6, 20-23 cp. Matt.16:18).

Therefore, the news and witnessing of diabolic programs in our country designed to banish the Church of Christ, and by extension terminate the great vision of Church-restoration should motivate us into doing what our predecessors did, so that we may receive the blessings of the challenge (Acts 4:21-25,31, Isa.45:7,9, Ex.9:13,15-16).

We shall rise to ask the Lord whether mortal men can be empowered by Satan (also a creature) to banish Him from this country. We shall ask Him if He has now ceded the Church and world to Satan.

PRAYER POINTS

*(Ps.92:1-5) Let’s thank the Lord for the grace so far in this exercise. Also thank Him for having not allowed this nation to become what the devils want it to be.

*(Ps.24:1, Jer.9:23,24) Since the earth is the Lord’s, and He delights in righteousness, let’s ask Him to show His rejection of unrighteousness in this country by neutralizing all ploys to take people’s land.

*(Ps.103:6) Pray that the Lord will fight the cause of all people that are being oppressed by the people that are migrating to perpetrate mayhem in this part of the country.

*(Ps.22:28) The kingdom belongs to God and He is the Governor in Nigeria; pray that He will use His Executive office to stop all manner of unrighteousness perpetrated against the less privileged. Pray that all those sponsoring the migration of people from one part of the country to another with the aim of taking over people’s land be arrested by the Lord.

*(Acts 9:5, 2Thess.1:6) Anybody that wants to stop the Church in this nation is wanting to drive God away, let us pray that God will resist such people in His way.

Let us thank the Lord for the answer to our prayers.
