(Ps. 91:1-2):
Having seen or understood what the secret place is, who then is dwelling there?
To dwell in the secret place of the Most High in our context is to stay on our vision (the 5-fold vision via the Lord’s 3-Fold End-Time project).
For one to come to, and dwell in this secret place, verse 2 tells us how. The psalmist here made God his personal refuge, and not just a refuge. In our context, one need to personalise the watchman vision to be able to stay on it (ie. dwell in the secret place).
People can be careless over the things of others, but not theirs (cons. Jn. 10:11-13). So, He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High …@ can be paraphrased as He that stays on his God-given project…@ The psalmist, King David a man who stayed on his calling was talking from experience.
It is one thing to know the secret (mind) of God and another thing to carry it out. Difficulties in one’s life and oppositions can take one out of the secret place of the Lord (Matt. 13:20-21). Love for the things, (even legitimate things) of this world can remove one from a God-given vision (cons. 1Jn. 2:15-17; Matt. 13:22; Col. 4:14; 2Tim. 4:10). But one that personalises the vision will surely stay on the vision through prayer, evangelism, financial and other supports.
