Bible Reading: Ps.1:1-3; Josh.1:8; Prov.3:1-6, Pro.4:1-10,18

Interactions every day involve words spoken, heard, read, etc. Some of these words lift either one up, or bring one down, destroy destinies, or build destinies, give life, or destroy life, etc depending on its source and intention (cons. Jn.4:21-29; 1Kgs.19:1-4). Jesus describes His own words as spirit and life   (Jn.6:63; 5:24,25).

The Word Of God; The Word of Life (Prov.4:22)

• The Word of God gives life, directs you in the right path, sustains and brings you to a place of blissful height in this world and eternally (Ps.73:24).
• It is powerful and alive (Jer.23:28,29; Heb.4:12), able to separate a sinner from sin and give him a new life (Eph.2:1-6; Col.1:13,14).
• Feeding on the Word of God, keeps you nourished and protected against anything that wants to tamper with your destiny and success (Ps.1:1-3; Jer.15:16; 1Tim.4:6).
• It is the sword of the Spirit for defense and attack, granting victory for you all the way  (Eph.6:17).

God is holy and cannot dwell in unclean spiritual place, the ability of the word to cleanse, purify and sanctify (1Jn.1:9), gives you the privilege of becoming the abode of the Lord (that is, if you keep living by it). Ps.119:1-3; 9-11; Jn.15:3; 17:17; 14:23; cons. Prov.15:8,9,26; Matt.5:8

Applying God’s word definitely makes you unmovable (Eph.4:12-14; cons. Ps.125:1,2).

The Attitude To The Word (Ps.138:2; Job 23:12; Col.3:16)

Christians must treasure and tremble at God’s word (Isa.66:2). God’s word is indeed the wonderful words of life shaping the us for real life and glory.
