PARTICIPATING IN CHRISTIAN ORDINANCES UNWORTHILY

The revelations of Scriptures are so complete that any person who endeavours to follow them can never perish.  (1Cor. 11:27-30)

This is what Jesus meant in Jn. 10:27-28.

In the said title, the people through the Holy Spirit of God, stipulated the consequences of partaking of the ordinances that symbolizes Christ’s death for us, generally referred to as the Lord’s Supper. From this, we can infer and that rightly that: to participate in these sacred ordinances unworthy (or with sin) brings God’s condemnation and judgement upon such participants.

It follows then that in the matter of water baptism (which those who have been born again must undergo), praise-worship and prayers, participants must ensure that they are clean (cp. Acts. 2:37-41; Matt. 6:9-15; Ps. 66:18; Pro. 15:8)
