Texts:             1Sam.4:6-9, Eph.6:12

Today, history is seemingly repeating itself: invaders are intimidating, raping, robbing, kidnaping, maiming and killing natives. The invaders brandish sophisticated weaponry, and have the backing of some authority; while the natives are armless and helpless.

These indigenous people (natives) whose lives and properties are being threatened or taken can only resort to God Almighty who hates oppression (Ps.103:6). They must tell God that they have no might against the invaders.

The watchmen must remind the Lord that if these invaders succeed, then they have made God’s word of no effect (Matt.16:18) and that will jeopardize the end-time mission (Isa.49:5,6).

PRAYER POINTS

*(Ps.17:1-2) Bless the Lord for the privilege of prayer; then ask for His attention now.

*(Matt.24:35) This is a period when every line of the scripture will be proven to be true to the letter, let us then ask the Lord to execute righteousness and justice for all the oppressed (Ps.103:6)

*(Jos.10:10-11, 2Chr.20:22-24) These invaders lurk in the bushes, let’s pray that those forests/bushes will expel them. Let the weather elements fight against them until there will be no trace of their existence. Let them disagree with themselves and neutralize themselves as in the day of Jehoshaphat.

*(Isa.41:10-12) There are sponsors of this agenda (invasion), let’s pray that the Lord will obliterate them i.e reduce them to nothing.

*(Isa.41:17-19) Ask the Lord to help the poor and needy to put an end to their torment. Remind the Lord that the success of the program of the invaders will jeopardize the end-time project that is championed by Nigeria.
