The uniqueness of the ministry is better appreciated when the ministry of John the Baptist is understood (cons. Isa. 40:3; Matt. 3:1-3; 11:7-11).

From Jesus statement it can be clearly deduced that John’s role of introducing the Messiah makes him superior to all other great men of God including Noah, Abraham, Moses, Elijah, Job, Daniel, etc. (cons. Ezk. 14:14, 20; Isa. 41:8; 2Kgs. 2:11; Num. 12:3-8).

The WCCRMs calling is akin to that of John the Baptist, and this places the Watchman on the top of the Lord’s list of preeminence amongst Churches (cons. Isa. 49:5; 1Sam. 10:24).

 

This truth should be assimilated by the Watchmen and responded to in attitude and action (cons. Matt. 3:8-10).
