BIBLE READING: John 15:13-15

Good friendship exists when those involved aim at sustaining godly values, virtues and excelling in every good ambition/endeavour especially when it is rooted in Christ. (Cons. Jn.20:17; Ruth 1:16,17). The influence and impact transcends to eternity. (Cons. Jn.14:1-3)

Examples of Good Friendship

*          David and Jonathan (1Sam.18:1-5)

*          Abraham and Lot (Gen.14:14-16)

*          Ruth and Naomi (Ruth 1:16-17)

*          Job and his friends (Job 2:11-13)

*          Elijah and Elisha (2Kgs. 2:2)

The Choice of friendship makes or mars you.  Time, observation, discernment, discretion, wisdom, prayer and the place of God’s word will help you choose the right friend? (Cons. 1Jn.4:1)

So, who is your friend?

Like bad friendship can affect your life negatively, a good friendship will do so positively.
