Is it a crime to fall in love with someone and want marry the person in line with the Church’s procedure, someone that has been a very good friend of yours? And you disclose this to the Committee.

If you fall in love you are no longer standing. You are expected to stand and if the marriage committee delays you, it is to help you stand.
You are to stand and walk in love with your spouse and not fall in love.
