What are the reasons for delays in attending to some applications forwarded to the Committee? There are instances where some sisters names were submitted to marriage committee and the application is kept pending for a while.

In some cases, the said sister might be found to have some health challenge that the supposed Brother might not know or accommodate if he's not genuinely led by GOD. Such Brother can be asked to pray more to be convinced, before being allowed to proceed.

In some cases, the said sister might be underaged and not matured for marriage. The Brother would be asked to wait if he is sure he has been led by GOD
