Why do we hold our wedding ceremonies in halls and events centres, why not in the Church?

It can be held in the church, but the reception needs to be in another hall, which will be more costly and people will go to the reception only.
It's preferable to hold it in 1 place to minimise cost and also let people listen to the message.

The reason most marriages are not done in Churches but at halls and event centres is because often time people don't attend Church Weddings and will only prefer to attend the reception ceremony. We therefore want people to attend the full wedding ceremony and so having the whole ceremony in a hall or event centre is ideal.
